Layla is an AI travel agent. You describe a trip in a conversation. You tell it about the destination, dates, who's coming, budget, style, and it generates a day-by-day itinerary covering flights, hotels, and activities.
Once the AI builds a plan, you can hand it to a human travel agent, who reviews it and completes the booking for you.
What are Layla AI’s top features?
1. Conversational planning: You describe the trip in plain text and layla builds a plan. A prompt like "help me plan a 7 day trip to Goa" is enough to start. It adapts the plan if our details change mid-conversation. In testing, adding a kid partway through the chat shifted the whole trip toward South Goa's quieter beaches instead of just tacking a note onto the original plan.
2. Multimodal input: Layla reads screenshots and PDFs, both for inspiration images and for existing bookings you want it to account for.
3. Live pricing and inventory: Pulls real time pricing and availability from partners including Skyscanner, Booking.com, and GetYourGuide.
4. In app booking: Flights, hotels, and some activities can be booked directly from the trip card. In testing, not every activity had a direct booking option.
5. Human agent finalization: A human travel agent reviews the AI's plan and completes the booking through "Finalise your trip," offered free on any plan. We used this ourselves to book the trip.
6. Video discovery: An interactive video map overlays creator travel videos onto destinations and neighborhoods.
7. PDF export: Generates a downloadable PDF summary of the trip you can share with your travel companions.
