Day 1

Jun 12

Tirana arrival day. Keep this as a soft landing in Skanderbeg Square, Mosque of Namazgah, and Pyramid of Tirana.
Skip Lake Bovilla unless your flight lands very early and you still feel fresh.
Finish with an easy dinner or drink at Arka Rooftop.
Mode: public transport day — airport bus or taxi into Tirana, then walk the center.
Target timing: aim to be in town by about 16:00 and keep the evening low-effort.
Rental strategy: do not pick up the car today.

Day 2

Tirana → Shkodër → Theth. Treat this as a pure transfer day and avoid trying to add side trips.
Mode: car day — this is still the logical day to pick up the rental in Tirana.
Target leave time: 08:00 out of Tirana for a calmer morning while still reaching Theth in daylight.
Driving breakdown: Tirana → Shkodër ~1 hr 45 min-2 hr, then Shkodër → Theth ~2.5-3.5 hr depending on road conditions.
Check in around Thethi Hotel, then only do a short village walk to Kisha e Thethit if energy is good.
Keep dinner simple and sleep early.
Public-transport fallback: bus/furgon to Shkodër plus a shared transfer to Theth is cheaper but less flexible. If you switch to a Koman Lake overnight, shared minivan + boat logistics are more sensible than self-driving.

Day 3

Theth easy adventure day. Pick one main outing rather than stacking everything.
Best relaxed version: head to Blue Eye Kaprre and keep the rest of the day slow back in the village.
If you want something shorter and more playful instead, swap in Thethi Zipline and keep the afternoon free.
Mode: local walking / shuttle / taxi day — keep the rental parked.
Target leave time: 09:00 from your guesthouse.
Rental note: today should feel like a recovery day, not a second transfer day.

Main hike day. Keep Valbona Pass as the one big goal and drop the idea of adding extra summit pushes.
Start early enough for weather and daylight, but keep this focused on one strong hike rather than a maximal day.
Back in Theth, have a quiet evening and rest properly before the long drive tomorrow.
Mode: hike / local transfer day — the rental should stay parked.
Target leave time: 07:00.
Rental note: it still makes sense to keep the car because tomorrow is your next major transfer.

Day 5

Drive Theth → Berat. Keep this as a straightforward repositioning day with just a gentle evening in Berat.
Mode: car day.
Target leave time: 08:00 out of Theth.
Driving breakdown: Theth → Shkodër ~2.5-3.5 hr, then Shkodër → Berat ~3-3.5 hr.
After check-in, keep it simple with dinner around Wine window Restorant Semani and a short old-town wander if you still have energy.
Transport: expect around 5.5-6.5 hours total on the road and avoid extra detours.

Day 6

Drive Berat → Përmet / Bënjë. Keep this day nature-focused but not overstuffed.
Mode: car day.
Target leave time: 09:00 from Berat.
Driving breakdown: Berat → Përmet / Bënjë ~3-3.5 hr depending on your exact stop order.
Choose one main soak / canyon block around Llixhat e Bënjës - Thermal Baths, Kadiut Bridge, Bënjë, Përmet, and Langarica Canyon rather than trying to linger at all three for too long.
Keep the evening easy in or near Përmet.

Day 7

Drive Përmet → Ksamil / Sarandë. Make this a transition into beach mode, not a packed checklist day.
Mode: car day for the transfer, then walking / short taxis.
Target leave time: 10:00 from Përmet.
Driving breakdown: Përmet → Ksamil / Sarandë ~2.5-3 hr.
Pick one beach club / lunch stop from Africana Beach Club Ksamil Sarande, ALOHA KSAMIL Beach Bar, Restaurant & Pizzeria, Bianco, Coco Restaurant - Beach Bar, Guvat Bar Restorant, or Poda Lounge Bar.
If timing works, finish with sunset at Lëkurësi Castle; otherwise save it.

Day 8

Drive Ksamil / Sarandë → Himarë. This should feel like a light Riviera day.
Mode: car day for the transfer, then walking / taxi night.
Target leave time: 10:30 so the morning stays relaxed.
Driving breakdown: Ksamil / Sarandë → Himarë ~1.5-2.5 hr depending on traffic.
After arrival, choose one main base for the afternoon — either Himara Nautica One for a boat-oriented feel or one easy food/drinks stop like Sin or Luciano.
Keep the evening easy rather than hopping between too many spots.

Day 9

Hotel Liro

Riviera boat / scenery day. Keep this as one clean excursion day centered on Bay of Grama.
Add Blue Cave only if it is naturally part of the same boat route and sea conditions are good.
Mode: public-transport / excursion day — do not plan on using the rental except maybe to reach a departure point.
Target leave time: 09:00 for the boat meeting point unless the operator needs earlier check-in.
Keep the evening close to your base and rest before the drive north.

Day 10

Hotel Liro

Drive Himarë → Vlorë → Tirana. Use this as a clean return day rather than trying to squeeze in too many last stops.
Mode: car day until Tirana/airport, then public transport.
Target leave time: 09:00 from Himarë.
Driving breakdown: Himarë → Vlorë ~2-2.5 hr, then Vlorë → Tirana ~2-2.5 hr depending on stops and traffic.
Use Hotel Liro in Vlorë as a natural break point, and only add Narta Lagoon if the drive is running smoothly.
Rental strategy: drop the car immediately on arrival in Tirana / at the airport.
Savings summary: keep the rental from Day 2 morning through Day 10 return and skip it on arrival day.
