🌍 Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Welcome to Uganda
Your mountain gorilla trekking Uganda safari begins upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport. A representative from Savannah Wanderlust Expeditions will meet you and transfer you to your hotel near Lake Victoria.
Spend the rest of the day relaxing after your journey or take an optional sunset walk along the lake shore. A safari briefing will be provided in the evening to prepare you for the adventure ahead.

🚙 Day 2: Entebbe → Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (Via Domestic Flight or Road Transfer)
After breakfast, begin your journey toward Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. You may travel by scenic road or domestic flight depending on your itinerary choice.
On arrival, check into a forest lodge surrounded by dense jungle and misty mountains. The afternoon is at leisure to relax and prepare for your trekking experience.

🦍 Day 3: Gorilla Trekking Experience – Bwindi Forest
Today is the highlight of your mountain gorilla trekking Uganda safari. After an early briefing by park rangers, you will enter the dense rainforest of Bwindi in search of a habituated gorilla family.
The trek can take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours depending on the group location. Once found, you will spend a magical hour observing gorillas in their natural habitat—watching them feed, play, and interact closely as a family.
Return to the lodge for rest and reflection in the evening.

🌿 Day 4: Bwindi → Lake Bunyonyi – Scenic Relaxation
After breakfast, depart for Lake Bunyonyi, one of Africa’s most beautiful and deepest lakes. Enjoy a peaceful boat ride between its many islands and take in the serene scenery of rolling hills and calm waters.
This day is designed for relaxation after the intense trekking experience, with optional cultural visits to nearby communities.
Overnight: Lake Bunyonyi resort
✈️ Day 5: Lake Bunyonyi → Entebbe – Departure
After a relaxed breakfast, begin your journey back to Entebbe by road or flight connection. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have time for souvenir shopping or a short city stop before your international departure.
