- Best en-route stop: Château d'Azay-le-Rideau for one more elegant Loire château
- If you want a market-town feel, add a short browse in Marché de Langeais / Langeais area if timing lines up
- Continue to Château de Rochecotte and enjoy the full countryside-hotel afternoon and dinner

Move to Saumur — Château La Comtesse de Loire
- Easy morning departure from Rochecotte
- On the way into Saumur, stop at Saumur for lunch and a first look at town
- If you want wine/caves, add Caves Louis de Grenelle in the afternoon
- Check in and keep the evening relaxed in Saumur

- Keep this day scenic rather than museum-heavy

Departure day
- Easy breakfast in Tours
- If time allows, one last quick stop at Marché des Halles or a short center-city coffee walk
