Prepare for the trip, then travel on the Cathay Pacific itinerary: depart San Antonio for Dallas–Fort Worth and connect to the Cathay Pacific DFW→HKG flight using the departure time shown on the e-ticket confirmation. Keep the DFW lounge and boarding buffer aligned with the confirmed local departure.
Tue Feb 02 07:04 PM — SAT → DFW, AA 4207, arriving 8:23 PM; use the DFW Terminal D Flagship Lounge during the connection, proceed to the Cathay gate around 10:00 PM, and board CX875 at 10:55 PM for the overnight DFW→HKG segment.
Keep this day for the overnight Cathay Pacific DFW→Hong Kong segment. Eat early, sleep during the flight, and wake before landing on February 4.
Arrive at Hong Kong International Airport on CX891 at the confirmed 6:15 AM local arrival time. Complete immigration, then use the HKIA arrivals-level shower and change facilities.
Depart the airport for Central, allowing realistic transfer time after arrival formalities.

Walk through Central's historic streets from 11:15 AM to noon, with a relaxed pace and transfer buffer.

Return to Hong Kong International Airport roughly 9:00–10:00 PM. Complete airport formalities around 10:00 PM; begin check-in and security from about 10:40 PM.
Use the Cathay Pacific business lounge from approximately 11:15 PM–12:15 AM for a shower, change, and light snack.
Take the imported Cathay Pacific CX659 flight from Hong Kong to Singapore, scheduled 1:40–5:40 AM local time.
Arrive in Singapore; complete immigration and collect checked luggage.
Transfer to AMOY by Far East Hospitality 76 Telok Ayer Street for luggage drop and freshening-up. After the 5:40 AM arrival at Changi Terminal 4, take a taxi or Grab directly to AMOY: about 17 minutes in light traffic, or roughly 25–30 minutes including pickup and airport exit delays. Expect approximately S$25–35 (about US$19–26), potentially more with surcharges. The MRT is cheaper but takes about 65 minutes and requires a Terminal 4 transfer, so it is not worth the extra friction after the overnight flight.

Explore Chinatown, then return to the hotel and rest during the afternoon.

Stroll through the Armenian Street/Peranakan area before dinner.

Return to the hotel to pack and check out.

Arrive in Langkawi, a tender port. Allow time for tendering ashore and keep the morning flexible before the excursion.
Langkawi port call runs 10:00 AM–8:00 PM. Do not plan activities that depend on a late return; aim to be back at the tender point with substantial margin before the final tender.
Phuket is a tender port with a 7:00 AM–6:00 PM call. This is a shore plan, not a confirmed booking. Request an early tender and plan to be ashore and ready at Phuket Elephant Care (Nai Ton) by approximately 8:30–8:45 AM to protect against tender delays.

When the elephant activity finishes, ask the operator whether they can drop us directly at Old Phuket Town rather than returning to the tender landing. Prefer Thalang Road; use Dibuk Road or Phang Nga Road as backup drop-off points. The sanctuary-to-Old Town transfer is roughly 800–1,200 THB (about US$24–36) and is the simplest, least-backtracking option. Arrange the Old Town pickup/return car before leaving the sanctuary, or immediately on arrival in Patong. If a direct Old Town drop-off is not possible, complete the operator's standard return to the Patong tender landing, then take a Grab/taxi to Old Phuket Town for roughly 350–700 THB (about US$11–21).

Aim to leave Old Phuket Town by 3:30 PM, and no later than 4:00 PM, for traffic and tender buffer. Planning taxi/Grab estimate from Old Phuket Town to the Patong tender-area stand-in: 350–700 THB (approximately US$11–21). Return to the tender point with substantial margin before the 6:00 PM ship departure.
